Austria's junior national American football team, as reigning European champions and undefeated at European level since 2011, will take part in the U20 World Championship in Edmonton, Canada, in June 2024. There, the domestic selection could face football giants such as the USA or Canada and thus gain experience that will last a lifetime.
Since this exciting adventure cost more than three times as much as a trip within Europe, a crowdfunding campaign was launched in spring 2024 – with sponsorships and private donations. AFBO
